Intensive English Language C
HIC offers Intensive English Language (IEL) courses specifically for students who need to improve their English language skills before entering their undergraduate or postgraduate pathway. English courses are held every semester and start in September, January and May (the same months as HIC's academic intakes).

Entry requirement
Our entry requirements vary depending on your previous level of study and the academic programme you wish to progress on to at HIC. The absolute minimum entry requirement is usually an UKVI IELTS 4.0 (with no band lower than 4.0)*.
*In some circumstances we can accept academic IELTS, please contact our admissions team for more information on qualifications accepted for entry.
